Baluchi Nomadic Saddle Bag

$1,650.00

A mid-century Baluchi tribal saddle bag from the rugged northern borders, preserved in its original found condition.

This piece is exceptionally rare because both hand-knotted panels remain perfectly intact, connected by their original flat-woven bridge—a element almost always severed when these utilitarian textiles enter the commercial trade. The geometric medallion pattern is rendered in a deep palette of indigo, oxidized iron, and camel wool, bearing the unmistakable patina and softening of a textile that was woven for a life on the move. Beautiful as a rich wall hanging or an architectural floor accent.
